-1Jesus’

Sustainable

Life-style:

This is Adam’s (and Eve’s)! Jesus is the second Adam: the one who succeeded where he failed. This does not negate the life-style allocated to the first Adam (and Eve), but fulfils it.

This is a life-style founded in faith: in God the creator’s wonderful goodness of loving-kindness toward us; desiring the best for us and our relationship with himself. It necessitates the incorporation of resistance of any endeavour, from whatever source, no matter how subtle, to cause doubt in our beings as to this foundational wise goodness of God our father and creator of all; including this world in all its fullness in which we find our visible and immediate (present) physical presence.

Thus, Jesus’ Sustainable Life-Style is as Adam’s (and Eve’s): consisting of the same instructions form God to them; with the added element that at present we find ourselves not in Paradise, the Garden of Eden, but a fallen world. It is the qualities of this world that needs particular addressing if we are to hope to live (by faith) Adam and Eve’s instructions (from God) for life: it is, in essence, in a state of rebellion from God, one founded on doubting his goodness and in fact imputing evil toward him. Thus, it largely calls evil good and good evil and in fact crucifies the personification of good (as Jesus demonstrated) as evil (in delusional thinking).

Thus God our father still calls us to be productive and follow his instructions (trusting his goodness) in the estate we find ourselves. While the instructions were simple:

Genesis Ch 1:

Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

29And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

Genesis Ch 2:

15And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

16And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

17But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

(Thus, freely eating was part of tasks allocation or occupational activities; with exclusion of eating from the fruit of produce from the tree of knowledge of good and evil.)

Thus, I would present that in God’s goodness he desires us to enjoy the state he has placed us in and gives great liberty with allocated caretaker duties. It is evident in all scripture that knowledge of good and evil is part of our daily lives, however, the participation in (partaking in) any advantage from that, God forbids.

In summary I therefore present that:

We are to be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth. We have allocated for us and available for our nutritional sustenance: every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to us it shall be for meat.

And the LORD God took us, and put us into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

And the LORD God commanded us, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

In short, we are to do our tasks and not take more than God’s allocated (all by faith); avoiding rebellion based on doubts (in God’s goodness).

The estate in which we now find ourselves is set on rebellion form and doubt in God (his goodness) and it is in fact adverse toward truth (the truth-fullness of God’s goodness (by faith)); so is opposed to us, as we (by intimation) demonstrate their error: they, in deluded thinking, can not cope with this, so crucify us (may God forgive them). This is the (only) sustainable life-style God in his goodness (by faith) has ordained: that is, the life of Christ in us, our living as Jesus did.

However, God our father is also almighty (or not GOD) and Jesus declared that no one could touch him without God’s allowance: thus, we are to walk in God’s ways (as did Jesus), trusting God’s almighty, loving goodness, fulfilling whatever instructions he allocates in our estate (where we’re placed) and resisting invitations to doubt God’s loving good blessed nature in the process.

In short: God is good and he desires good toward us, we thus need to trust him and do as he instructs us (in his word to us now) and resist any (however subtle endeavour) to doubt his loving goodness (toward us and all (his creation)).

(All by grace: boasting’s impossible; we will cast our crowns before him, as it is only by his grace we even receive any reward for any good we ourselves may attain to in our lives (he made us for his pleasure, the purpose of our existence is the bestowing of pleasure (upon him)).)

[As a general principle, in short, the need to support (facilitate) the physical existence (individually and communally) in context of agreement (unity) with the Kingdom of God’s spiritual qualities of: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, etc and the presence of a demonstration of that agreement with the uppermost motivation of giving pleasure to the creator who made the visible out of the invisible for that purpose; needs to be present in the facilitation of the sustainability of all life, else it’s void of purpose (or worse: hijacked by a purpose less that its ultimate or even against its ultimate (purpose)).]
